New Dwellings

New HouseA BER Assessor officially registered with Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI) will review the drawings and specifications for the proposed dwelling, according to the procedures laid down by SEI. From these, a Provisional BER Certificate will be issued to the client. Upon completion of the home a final BER Certificate will be provided, based on an assessment of the final drawings and specifications, which represent the house as actually built. An Advisory Report will be provided with each BER Certificate and this will help the client to identify how the energy performance of the home might be improved. At the client’s request, we can go beyond this to provide detailed, practical advice on how to improve the dwelling’s energy rating in the form of an individualised Potential Improvements Report.

Our Registered BER Assessors are also Chartered Quality Professionals.

We are available in the evenings and at weekends, as well as during normal working hours.

Grants

A wide range of substantial grants for improving home energy performance are available from SEI (Sustainable Energy Ireland), including a grant for BER Assessment. See SEI Grants for full details.
